This opportunity from the Early Childhood Council Leadership Appliance is intended to help family child care homes start up, expand, or maintain consistent operations, increase capacity and reduce the number of family child care homes closing their doors due to financial restrictions. ECCLA’s Back to Work Scholarship is a unique scholarship program that works to support Coloradans displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants are provided one-on-one college and career navigation support in addition to receiving scholarship awards up to $3,500.

Receive coaching support and funding for CDA programs (up to $600) and the CDA Assessment fee ($425). For renewal candidates, program can pay for renewal assessment fee ($125). No prior work experience is required, however, you must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled as a junior or senior in high school career and technical program in early childhood education to qualify for a scholarship.

This federally registered apprenticeship program allows early learning professionals to choose their own path to becoming early childhood teacher/director qualified while learning on the job skills with on-site support. Must be 16 years or older, and employed or willing to be employed full time in a licensed early childhood program. This program is a 2-year commitment.

ECCLA’s Rural Reskilling, Upskilling, Next-Skilling (R.U.N.) Scholarship Program provides career counseling and tuition support to early childhood professionals in rural communities seeking to reskill, upskill, or next-skill.
