Summit Mission Statement: The
Colorado Early Childhood Summit is a coalition of statewide leaders in early
childhood care and education. The Summit works to improve early
childhood services and systems through discussing issues, providing
information and collaborating on advocacy to shape public policy
The Colorado Early Childhood
Summit is a membership coalition representing the leadership and decision
makers of the largest statewide early childhood organizations. The
principle focus is child care and early education in the State of Colorado.
The Summit is not an incorporated organization.
Guiding Principles:

To foster understanding
of common goals and areas of issue, and to improve communication among
the state's early childhood organizations.

To build partnerships
resulting in information sharing, collaboration and ultimately the
enrichment of child care and early education in Colorado.

To create a stronger
voice in advocacy and shaping public policy.

To work together on
issues related to regulations, standards, funding and practice.
