Board Information

Colorado AEYC is governed by a 27-member elected Board. There are five Executive Board members, six Members-at-large, and a Representative from each of the 16 local districts. Members serve on a staggered basis, with terms beginning August 1.

Leadership Development

Serving on the CAEYC State Board can be an exciting and rewarding experience that contributes to your professional growth. We seek to develop emerging leaders who are willing to commit time to work on behalf of statewide and national issues that affect all young children and their families. Individuals interested in becoming board members are encouraged to inquire at any time about annual appointment or elections.
Serving in an CAEYC Local District State Chapter offers many leadership opportunities, whether as a one-time volunteer or through service as an officer or committee chair.
Serving on an CAEYC Board Committee is also an excellent opportunity for Association members to develop professionally. Committees include public policy, accreditation and conference.
